Garbage collection points and the collection dates are determined according to the categories of the garbage.Please follow the rules and dispose of it properly.

Burnable garbage “Kanengomi”

Burnable garbage is collected twice a week.
Collection dates for the burnable garbage is separately determined in each area.
Please refer to the garbage-separation guide.
Make sure to put garbage in a specified garbage bag (yellow color), and then take the garbage out to dump near your home.
Purchase garbage bags at supermarkets.
Do not take non-burnable garbage such as cans or hard plastics, or over-sized garbage such as futon-mats.
You can refer to the garbage-separation guide to take out the garbage.
If you have a large amount of burnable garbage, please take them to the CleanCenter by yourself. (Fees Required)

Recyclable Garbage is collected once a month.
Confirm the garbage dates and the collection points shown in the list, and make sure to take the garbage in time.
Be sure to take the garbage at the district collection points in your area.
Please refer to the garbage—separation guide to confirm the type of recyclable garbage and how to separate them.
If you are not sure, you can ask the collection staff standing at the collection points.
Beware that collection of the garbage may be canceled in bad weathers.
If you do not take the garbage in the dates of the collection, please carry it to the CleanCenter by yourself. (NO Fee Required)

Landfill Garbage “Umetate Gomi ・Hassai Gomi ・Yugai Gomi”

Landfill Garbage is collected once a month.
It is collected on the same dates and at the same points as the recyclable garbage.
Landfill Garbage is categorized as the garbage neither burnable nor recyclable.
Refer to the garbage-separation guide to confirm the type of Landfill Garbage.
If you have a large amount of landfill garbage, please carry it to the Torihara Garbage Landfill by yourself. (Fees Required)

Please carry furniture, bicycles, and electric goods and other large pieces of garbage to the city-run collection site by yourself or apply for the door-to-door collection service by phone.

Individual collection of Oversized Garbage
These 4 following types of home electronics: air conditioners; TVs; laundry machines; refrigerators; and personal computers are treated separately. If you are not sure, contact Environmental Health Division ”Seikatsu Eisei-Ka” .
